Jun 10, 2011 Western Horse Expo - (Cal expo center)
Maddi's Friesian Ranch will be at the 2011 Western Horse Expo in Sacramento California. It will be held at the CAL Expo Center. The dates for the event are June 10th - 12th 2011. We will also be involved in the Friesian breed demo, so come and check our beautiful horses out as we ride, long-line and lunge. We will have all of our sale horses their for people to look at..

Jun 07, 2011 Baby #4
TJ didnt waste any more time holding her baby in after Githa foaled out. She foaled a beautiful colt named Jacob. I have to say he is the biggest friesian foal that we have had foal out here. Mommy and baby are doing great. All of our friesian broodmares are such good moms. Now we are just waiting for Afke. Her due date is July 14th, 2011

This is the first year that we have foaled out Githa. We were all very excited to see what kind of foals she would throw. She is a great mother and the foal has her personality already. They are both doing great. Her foal's name is Kahia!

2011 has been filled with crazy storms and dramatic temperature changes. I have to say though we have the most spectacular views from our ranch!!

After a very long and hard pregnancy, Titia finally foaled a gorgeous colt named Kaleb at 3:20 a.m. June 2nd 2011. He has personality to boot already, Both mom and baby are doing great! pictures to come..
May 17, 2011 First foal of 2011
Finally, after a really long wait we have our first foal. Ankjen (Callie) foaled out a beautiful filly early monday morning (5/16). We have decided to name her Johanna. We can't wait to see what the other mare's foals will look like. The next one due is Titia, she has less then a month to go!!
